Target Launch: 8th of November
In my opinion, if anyone likes the looks of any of the different Swiss Point models, I would recommend giving them a try. I have been using a set of SP03s for about 3 weeks now...I have thrown them pretty much exclusively and that amounts to about 1 - 1.5 hours a day....no point breaks yet...I have hit plenty of wires, I have had lots of tight groupings where the darts are banging off each other, I have had bounce outs, I have dropped them.....no breaks. So you really should give them a try.

Maybe the ones that are breaking are being dropped on concrete, maybe they are are not tightened all the way, or something. The points are still steel, they are not made of glass. I think they can take a beating under normal and they will be alright. Plus, I think you can get a set of 3 of them for 5 or 6 quid, so even if after a month or two or if an accident happens, you are out 2 quid....I know I am not overly worried about breaking them....sure if I go play somewhere I will take an extra set of points just in case, but like I said I am not worried.

Good luck, no fear, just go for it.

Give the threaded section a spring temper and that will last forever. That hardening and tempering will cost a lot more, but worth it.

Your thinking/process be it fine as it is unfortunately isn't a money making venture.

They may of sold big numbers on release but now people have realised the fragility of swiss points they are losing out more in the long run than they would of if they had made them correctly in the first place?

Yes, in the end they are the one who lose out customers' trust. Even worse is physical shops don't want to stock them up because no one is goin to buy them, they are not cheap. If they are as cheap as disposable soft tips, then it will be fine.

Target has become a marketing company rather than a dedicated manufacturer. We're buying the brand name only, not the product. Dodgy The only Target product that I will buy is their silicone O-rings.

Let's see if any of these Swiss points will appear in PDC matches from the Target team.
I've don;t have a want to use Swiss points, but I find their other products are actually very good. I'm using Storm points, Reddragon barrels (Just my preferred grip), target nylon stems (I find they last way longer than others and I don't use springs or rings with them), and target flights No6 shape.
Current Setup: 22g Reddragon Dragonflys
From Ontario, Canada

I was hoping for the cross darts with Swiss point. I want to try the system but so far I’m not keen on any of the darts
