BOB'S 27 - DIRTY G - 02-25-2014

RULES
start with 27 points
you throw 3 darts at each double from 1 - bull
scoring works as follows - miss the double with all three deduct the score for missed double from total , e.g miss D6 minus 12 from score.
hit a double and add the value of the double to total with each hit , e.g hit D6 3 time add 36 hit it once add 12
if your score falls below zero you're out
a perfect score would be 1437 !!!
NOTE: Your final score should not be an even value!!!! If so you have miscalculated the math somewhere.
Post scores here to be added to table.

Ok peeps, thought I would make this a permanent fixture as I find it to be the most exciting / non boring, doubles practice around. Plus the fact that I dont want rich345's spreadsheet to go to wast lol (thanx Rich). I have taken scores from an old bob's 27 challenge we had awhile ago, as these scores were achieved by our members and by rights should be scored, anyhow, I will update this post after this weeks challenge.

i honestly do think this helps your double scoring over time and i don't find it boring in any way.
If there are any other practice routines you would like a spreadsheet for, give me a shout (and the rules) and i will see what i can do.

If you noticed I made 100@20 and 100@bulseye sticky, as some members have been overlooking these challenges, Thought we needed a doubles challenge (bob's 27) to go with the power scoring and bull challenges to cover all aspects of the game. Hope Im not being to sticky lol

Nice work G, I'm quite fond of this game myself.........sometimes. I had a couple of rounds the other night and landed on the bull twice in a row with 49 points, missed the bull on both occasions. Verbally abused myself and contemplated physically abusing the dartboard but it's harder than me. Looking at the leader board I reckon McInnis can improve his score.
